Tamalpais High School
Our mission is to spark curiosity in younger students through captivating physics demonstrations and age appropriate explanations.

Experience the excitement of physics through hands-on demos that make science come alive for students of all ages.
Math in Motion is a student-led club dedicated to inspiring curiosity and excitement for physics among younger learners. The club was started to give students the opportunity to explore physics earlier, so they can discover their passion for science and have more time to pursue it. We visit local schools to perform engaging demonstrations and explain the science behind them in clear, accessible ways, making complex concepts understandable and sparking early interest in STEM. You can explore our list of demonstrations and choose which ones you’d like us to bring to your classroom.

We are a group of students and mentors at Tamalpais High School introducing younger students to physics—a subject they may not have seen before. Through hands-on demos and engaging explanations, we make science exciting, approachable, and fun.
